An alternate to light sensitive LED's. A new, inexpensive Audible Conductivity Indicator sensitive enough to detect the free H+ ions in water. It is semiquantitative in that it indicates increasing electrical conductivity by an audible tone that increases in volume and intensity as the conductivity increases. It is sensitive enough to register low conductivity for 70% ethyl alcohol. The Audible Conductivity Indicator responds to liquids in a volume as small as 0.1 ml. Probes are gold plated to reduce corrosion and extend the life of the unit. Probes can be inserted in fruits (lemons, tomatoes, etc.). The LAB-AIDS® Audible Conductivity Indicator comes with the patented CHEMPLATE®, directions for use and a one year limited warranty (9 volt battery not included).
