In a single drop of their own blood, students observe and identify different cell types. Students draw samples of their own blood with individualized sterile lancets. They prepare a smear of their own blood and apply Wright's stain. This activity serves to give students a sound grip of lab techniques as well as an opportunity to discover something of themselves. A technique filmstrip/cassette is available which encourages independent study. Microscopes are required. Kit contains enough material for 50 individual students to conduct the lab activity.
