Aspirin is the most widely used over-the-counter medication in the world. Do your students really know what aspirin does? What it's made of? How common brands differ? Your class will answer these and other questions as they perform a variety of tests on several brands of aspirin. In the process, they'll determine each brand's chemical effectiveness and composition for each brand as well as the cost-benefit relationships between these attributes. (Class size: 40 students).
