This revolutionary DNA model supplies the necessary parts to construct 2 complete DNA molecules. The components consist of four nucleic acid bases. These bases are color-coded, molded plastic pieces, shaped so only the proper bases will fit together. Twelve pairs of these bases are snapped onto a supporting rod and two stretchable rubber stands, representing phosphate. A model consists of 48 bases, 4 strands, 2 supporting rods and pedestals in a leatherette covered box. Illustrated instructions attached. Assembled model is 441 x 76 x 176 mm.
