Unbreakable vacuum-desiccator holds a vacuum of 740mm of mercury for 24 hours. Lightweight and shatterproof. No danger of implosion, even under full vacuum. Lower section, molded of polypropylene with excellent chemical resistance, may be used with #D-2994 desiccator plates, incandescent crucibles, conventional plates or porcelain stands. The top section of unbreakable polycarbonate transparent, with light amber tint will slide off the bottom section with ease. A neoprene "O" ring in groove of bottom section gives an excellent seal with upper section.
