Our new elementary microscope fills the need for a sturdy instrument to study biology in the lower grades. It has coarse focusing or coaxial focusing with a slip-clutch to prevent damage to both the microscope and slides.

LED illumination (tungsten no longer available);
Rugged all metal construction;
360° rotatable head;
Fixed condenser and 5 hole disc diaphragm;
10X wide field eyepiece with pointer, locked on, and mounted at 45°;
4X, 10X, 40X(R) achromatic objectives, parfocaled and parcentered;
Reverse triple nosepiece with positive click stops;
Adjustable stage stop to prevent slide damage;
Double round moveable stage for easy positioning of specimen;
Choice of coarse focus, or coaxial coarse and fine focusing;
A full 265mm high with a 145 x 100mm base;
Comes complete with dust cover and instruction manual in styrofoam package.
