For laboratory use as a standard or universal tester. Can also be used to excite Geissler or other electrical tubes. It's output is
10 000 to 50 000 volts at frequencies of approximately 1/2 megahertz. It is mounted in a hard bakelite case and can easily be hand held. Normal applications are usually less than one minute. Where continuous use is required, the tester must be turned off to cool after ten minutes. Comes with a three-prong plug. Operates on 120V, 50/60Hz.
