Challenge your class to discover the role of chlorophyll in photosynthesis as they observe, measure and compare the growth of normal vs. albino corn seeds. While both contain sufficient food to sprout, at some point the albino sprouts die. Since they lack chlorophyll they cannot carry out photosynthesis, leaving them without necessary nutrition once the initial food supply is depleted. Includes everything needed for a class of 40 students
