This kit provides the materials to make 10 optical slits for students to perform first hand investigations into interference, and diffraction. These slits can be used with white light or monochromatic sources, either hand held or mounted on an optical bench and illuminated with laser light. Included are 10 specially coated microscope slides, 5 double edged razor blades, 40 watt clear showcase bulb with socket and cord, and red and blue cellophane filters.
