This apparatus demonstrates that 2 balls travelling unequal distances at unequal rates of acceleration strike the floor at the exact same instant. The spring can be locked at four different tensions. The metal platform is 15cm long and has a 5mm diameter rod attached to permit support at any desired height. Best results are obtained by clamping the unit to the corner of a table. Shipped complete with two 2.5cm diameter steel balls (one solid, one with hole), instructions with theory and experiments.
